Fauna Robotics is transforming how humans and robots coexist by building robots that are safe, approachable, and capable of navigating and assisting in human-centered spaces. We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Chief of Staff to support our CEO and leadership team. This role is integral to driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and maximizing the CEO’s effectiveness.

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a trusted advisor, problem-solver, and key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to shape the direction of a fast-growing robotics company and work on meaningful initiatives that will define the future of human-robot interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Partner with the CEO to plan, coordinate, and execute high-priority initiatives. Track and report on progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Project Management: Drive cross-functional projects and ensure deliverables are met. Identify and mitigate roadblocks to maintain momentum on strategic objectives.
  • Communication: Act as a communication bridge between the CEO and the broader organization, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and expectations. Draft key communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the CEO.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare materials for leadership team meetings, board meetings, and investor updates. Ensure the CEO is fully briefed on agendas, issues, and follow-ups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including investors, advisors, and strategic partners. Coordinate follow-ups and maintain strong relationships.
  • Special Projects: Lead special initiatives as identified by the CEO, including market research, fundraising support, or new business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic operations, or a similar role, preferably within technology, robotics, or AI industries.
    • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving measurable results.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an ability to distill complex issues into actionable insights.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Passion for robotics, AI, or emerging technology landscapes.
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives in a high-growth startup.
  • Understanding of fundraising processes or investor relations.

Compensation

$100k - $200k/yr, plus equity
